We are a therapeutic horseback riding and education program with a mission to help people overcome life�s obstacles through equine interaction. Established in March of 2011, our program has 45 volunteers putting in over 2000 volunteer�s hours for FY 2013 to help 35 riders per week. All of our instructors are certified by PATH Intl (Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship International) and/or CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association. Our programs include: � Equine Assisted Therapy (Therapeutic Horse Back Riding) � teaching adaptive horseback riding to people with all types of disabilities. Our riders range in age from 4 to 90 with a myriad of disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and blindness � Special Olympics Equestrian Team � has competed in two horse shows already, in preparation for the state competition in May � Equine Assisted Learning � helping teenage girls overcome trauma, PTSD and anxiety by learning to ride horses. � Therapeutic Riding Instructor Training Program
