Camp Nejedly is a program of the City of Sacramento, Department of Parks and Recreation, Access Leisure section, which is hosted by the Contra Costa Youth Council.

This unique Camp is based in the Sierra Nevada wilderness and is open to children 10 to 18 years old with physical disabilities. Disabilities include: Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Amputee, Spinal Cord Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, and other orthopedic impairments. Campers participate in outdoor education, purposeful fitness, recreational, competitive and social activities such as, kayaking, swimming and hiking.

Programs are directed toward adventures in wilderness adventure for youth with physical disabilities. These activities are appropriate for campers who are ambulatory as well as those who use assistive devices such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, braces, and prosthetics.
