HILTRA provides therapeutic & recreational horseback riding for individuals with physical, mental or behavioral challenges, who are striving to improve the quality of life for them & their families.

Our therapeutic horseback riding program uses the horse and its movement as a unique instrument to provide a variety of therapeutic experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities, or individuals who are "at risk" for developmental disabilities. These disabilities include physical, behavioral & mental challenges with conditions such as Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and Autism. Also included are those with speech and visual impairments.

Therapy sessions are held at the Great Northern Fairgrounds in the Bigger Better Barn on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
