General Description

This 77-acre park is the site where veterans gathered following the war between the states to help the orphaned and widowed, and keep alive the friendships built on the battlefield. It includes historical structures and remnants from prehistoric Native Americans, confederate veterans, and the Texas oil boom of the 1920''s. It is a day use park with picnic facilities.
