The second annual USABA National Half Marathon Championships Presented by National Industries for the Blind will be held at the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon at National Harbor, Maryland.

We anticipate more than a dozen national visually-impaired athletes to travel to the Washington, DC area to compete in the October 2 race. We already have nine athletes committed.

Thanks to a generous new grant from National Industries for the Blind in Alexandria, VA, this year we are able to offer travel reimbursement for our visually-impaired competitors. We can offer up to $300 reimbursement for airfare, and we will cover lodging with host families for Friday and Saturday night September 30/October 1, which will include a special VIP dinner for all visually-impaired runners and their guide/guest on Saturday night at National Harbor.
