The Cooper Institute and the American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation are teaming up to host "Diversity in Physical Activity and Health," as the 10th Cooper Institute Conference. With an emphasis on measurement and research related topics, this conference will explore many critical issues including:
Obesity standards for children
Physical activity and health disparities
Subpopulation dose-response issues
The role of culture in physical activities
In addition, the conference will introduce the latest measurement methods and new technologies for physical activity promotion. A combination of world-class faculty and an excellent meeting environment provides an outstanding learning opportunity for all participants.
