The Missouri Division of Developmental Disabilities, Department of Mental Health, works in partnership with persons with developmental disabilities, families, community providers and other state and local agencies to support people with developmental disabilities to live and work in their home communities. The Division works with over 1,100 community providers and eleven (11) regional offices and six (6) rehabilitation centers across the state to support nearly 30,000 persons with developmental disabilities. The Division administers four (4) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waivers: Comprehensive Support Waiver, Community Support Waiver, Sarah Juan Lopez Waiver, and Autism Waiver.
The position requires:
Knowledge of philosophies of best practices of delivering services to people with developmental disabilities;
Knowledge of Medicaid Home and Community based waivers;
Supervisory experience, including development and revision of policies and procedures, employee training, employee discipline and completing performance appraisals.
