Held every year since 2001, the conference shares examples of public health institutes (PHI) working in close collaboration with state and local health departments, community-based organizations, universities, and other multi-sector partners to support the implementation of health transformation initiative. Conference topics include health equity, evidence-based public health, and discussion related to sustainability for public health institutes. The content of the annual conference is designed primarily by NNPHI members and showcases innovations and trends in supporting healthy communities on the federal, state, and local levels.
