The Center on Human Development and Disability (CHDD) at the University of Washington in Seattle is seeking applications for up to two (2) half-time, two-year psychology postdoctoral fellowship in neurodevelopmental disabilities. As a Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow, you would be a long-term trainee in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program at the CHDD\\\'s Clinical Training Unit (CTU). Your academic home would be in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington. Psychology fellowships in the CTU\'s LEND program are funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) of the US Public Health Service, through an interdisciplinary leadership-training grant, and also by the ARC Foundation of Washington; traineeships are contingent on continued funding.

Training is intended to accomplish the dual objectives of developing both (a) high levels of interdisciplinary clinical skill and (b) leadership abilities that complement clinical skill and acumen. Primary training experiences will include participation in an interdisciplinary diagnostic assessment team and didactic seminars. In addition, completion of a leadership project is required. Additional training experiences in assessment and consultation can be included in the LEND fellowship, including participation in the UW High-Risk Infant Follow-Up Clinic and community-based evaluation clinics. Patient populations are diverse in age (from infancy through adolescence), ethnicity/race, and developmental levels. Previous experience with child assessment and autism spectrum disorders is preferred.
