The ADAPT Youth Summit is THE place for young disability rights activists ages 18 to 30 to get some schooling on ADAPT tactics and strategy, and develop their leadership in their home ADAPT chapters. ADAPT Youth Summit trainers are both veteran ADAPTers and young ADAPT leaders. When you come to the ADAPT Youth Summit, you will be challenged in ways you never thought possible. WHO CAN ATTEND???
Any young person with a disability between the ages of 18 to 30 can apply! We are looking for youth who are excited about making real change and fighting for the rights of people with disabilities. Check out our \"Apply\" section at the top of this site to get the application. HOW MUCH DOES IT CO$T ADAPT will cover the cost of shared housing, lunches, and dinners during the summit, training materials, and ASL interpretation. Participants will be expected to pay for their travel to and from Chicago; as well as meals that are not provided. ADAPT believes that cost should not be a barrier for anyone and will help provide assistance to anyone who needs help fundraising these costs.
