Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation presents the third annual Chattanooga Wheelchair Tennis Tournament July 6-9, 2006. Forty players from around the country will come to the Champions Club at Rivermont Park to participate in this United States Tennis Association (USTA) sanctioned event. Everyone is invited to watch the competition for FREE.

Seven professional wheelchair tennis players will compete in the men�s or the quadriplegic open divisions.

On Friday and Saturday, the tournament will begin at 8 a.m. and will continue until approximately 4 p.m. All competitors are USTA members. Singles and doubles will be offered in men, women, quad and junior divisions. The divisions are subdivided by ability, including Open, A, B, C and D.

On Thursday evening, an �Up/Down Tennis Mixer� is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. where able-bodied tennis players will volunteer to play with the tournament�s competitors.

In case of rain, the event will be moved to The Racquet Club on Adams Road.
