The theme of this year�s Annual Meeting is �Making an Impact on the Health and Wellness of Persons with Disabilities through Personnel Preparation, Research, and Advocacy. Come share your experiences and learn from your colleagues in a professional, yet informal atmosphere.

We have a very exciting slate of sessions planned. Included among the presenters are Dr. Margaret Giannini, Director of the Office on Disability � U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; Dr. John Crews, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Betty Baker, U.S. Department of Education � Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services; Dr. Jayne Greenberg, Special Services Director with Miami Dade County Schools, and Linda Webbert, Adapted Physical Education Director with the Baltimore County Schools. In addition to these guests, several members will present on topics ranging from new teacher license programs to undergraduate concentrations in adapted physical education teacher preparation. As always, we will be presenting awards to national leaders in adapted physical education, and hear from a panel of past presidents who will assist with the entire conference.
