AXIS Summer Intensive is a week-long dance exploration for people with and without disabilities and a wide range of dance levels that will take place in Oakland, CA. AXIS Dancers will teach physically integrated contact improvisation, technique, composition/performance. Several lunch time forums and two evening events are also held. The intensive will culminate with an informal performance by participants and company. The focus of the week will be on exploration, innovation, research and serious fun!
