Cub Scouts Add New Achievement Award for Disability Awareness

Requirements are now outlined for Cub Scouts to earn a Belt Loop or Academics Pin in the area of Disability Awareness. Scouts may complete the requirements in various environments and doing such things as visiting with and getting to know someone with a disability, attending a disability related event and sharing thoughts about the experience, making a display about a disability to share, safely trying to use an assistive device, learning the Cub Scout Promise and motto in sign language, and many more.
