Research Corner:  Effects of Water-Based Exercise for Cardiovascular Fitness in Individuals who Experience Chronic Post-Stroke Symptoms

Research shows that participation in water-based exercise has been shown to improve the cardiovascular fitness of several groups of people, but research has not focused specifically on stroke survivors. This article summarizes a study testing the benefits of water-based exercise in improving the cardiovascular fitness of individuals who experience chronic post-stroke symptoms.
