From the Information Specialist's Desk: Share the Wealth

We may be in a recession, and while I'd love to send each and every one of you a check to put toward pursuing a healthy lifestyle, we all have to work with what we've got! In our case here at NCPAD, we've got information, and we're sharing it with you. Read this month's FITT column, where guest columnist Melissa McCall gives details of NCPAD's Virtual Trainer Program. Find out how you can get involved either as an individual or a team leader and gain exclusive access to NCPAD's physical activity and nutrition experts for this 14-Week program. As a fitness professional, access our new factsheet on Person-First Language and Disability Awareness: Interaction Tips for the Fitness Professional for simple tips on how you can better serve your clients with disabilities. If you're a consumer, share a copy of this factsheet with the fitness professional(s) in your life. It's up to all of us to share the wealth!
