The 2006 Disability and Health State Chartbook (http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/dh/) provides health profiles and comparisons of persons with disabilities.

The United Nations has reached an agreement on a new convention on the rights of persons with disabilities which will be formally sent to the General Assembly for adoption at its 61st session. In particular, Article 30 refers to full inclusion and accessibility of persons with disabilities participating in cultural life, recreation, leisure, and sport activities.
