Senior Corner:  Exercising with Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a degenerative disorder that affects the central nervous system and outwardly impacts an individual's gait, balance, and strength. Exercise can improve the effects of PD on those who have it.

The "Five-Dinner Grocery Bag" series was created to help individuals with a spinal cord injury shop for and prepare five meals that can be created from only one or two grocery bags.

The Grocery Bag series isn't limited to what you can find at the grocery store. If you live near a farmers market, it can be a great source of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients to make these meals taste even better.
