We provide recreational camping opportunities for adults with muscular dystrophy and other related neuromuscular diseases. Each year we provide a week-long summer camp at Easter Seals Camp Wawabek and 3-day weekend camp at Easter Seals Camp Pioneer.

With the one-on-one assistance of volunteer attendants and the use of a completely accessible facility, adults with disabilities can actively participate in a variety of activities. Wheelchair sports, swimming, arts and crafts and trail rides are just a few of the opportunities available at the W.A.L.H. summer camp. Equally as important is the opportunity to share their experiences with others who face similar daily challenges. The lifelong friendships that develop and thrive at camp create a family atmoshphere and all around memorable experience. Tha camps provide a chance for participants to enjoy themselves, forge new friendships, renew old ones and relax without worrying about attendant care, transportation, etc. The summer camp is a getaway that is eagerly anticipated year after year by everyone involved.
