The Therapeutic Fitness Center was created at the Peoria Center to help people with disabilities:

• Increase cardiovascular fitness
• Increase strength and endurance
• Increase flexibility
• Improve level of independence
• Improve self-image and self-confidence

The gym was designed to serve people ages ten and up with various disabilities including, but not limited to: Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome, and Intellectual Disabilities.
