The Fitness Clinic for Individuals with Disabilities is a community outreach program through the Department of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at San Diego State University. Our clinic serves individuals from the San Diego region with a wide variety of physical disabilities and offers them the opportunity to reach their fitness and exercise goals. We assist clients and develop management skills for disabilities that include: multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, post-CVA (stroke), brain injury, cerebral palsy, transverse myelitis, post-polio, spinal cord injury. Clients' age has ranged from 12 to 87 years.
