Camp Crestfield:
This camp is located along the beautiful Slippery Rock Creek in Butler County, Pennsylvania, approximately one hour north of Pittsburgh. Camp Crestfield offers the campers excitement and adventure in the great outdoors.

Life at Camp:
There are a wide range of activities at camp:

  • swimming
  • boating
  • fishing and canoeing
  • Nature lore
  • hiking
  • arts
  • crafts and games will be part of a well-planned program.
Campfire activities will highlight some evenings, with games and discussions about new ideas from the campers. There will be time set aside each day for campers to enjoy the freedom from routine where they can make their own kind of fun, write letters, read stories, or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.

Camp Goals:
  • To provide an enoyable camp experience to children with diabetes in a healthy environment away from home
  • To enable children with diabetes to meet and live with other children with diabetes
  • To provide a vacation for parents from the daily worries of diabetes while providing the children a vacation away from home
  • To help children with diabetes learn more about their condition and how to control and cope with diabetes
