Notes

It is never too early to start to think about Summer Day Camp! Here at the Cross Island YMCA Summer Day Camp, children are safe, supervised and engaged in activities that keep their bodies active when school lets out for the summer.

Youngsters eagerly anticipate the free time and simply want to have fun and learn something new. Today summer day camp programs are as unique as the campers themselves. We still provide arts and crafts, but we also offer kids exceptional opportunities to enjoy activities and resources that are often unavailable to them during the school year. Our camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

The Cross Island YMCA is extremely proud to offer for the 2nd year the Let's ALL Play Camp which helps bring an inclusive recreational experience to children with disabilities. It gives children with developmental disabilities the same experience as those without. Children with disabilities and their peers who are typically developing come together to participate in recreational activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, community service, physical fitness and more. This camp is possible because of support given by the The Bubel/Aiken Foundation.
