The Ateaze Senior Center is a vibrant center of community activity providing educational, social and recreational services for members aged 60 and over.
Physical fitness classes have always been very popular and include a wide variety of options.A walking program, a traditional fitness program, and a chair exercise class are all offered three times weekly. You can enjoy the benefits of moving meditation, which enhances balance and circulation through a tai chi class. Several water aerobics classes are offered at the Community College of Baltimore County - Dundalk Campus weekly. Dance programs are equally as diverse; they include: line dance, ballroom dance, and square dance. Additionally, bowling, table tennis, bocce and horseshoes can be physically challenging. For the more adventurous, the Ateaze Cycling Seniors offers a weekly organized bike ride which averages thirty miles round trip.
