Sandcastles Day Camp is a four-week enrichment program serving children ages 4-6 in the Cape Henlopen School District who are experiencing difficulties meeting preschool and kindergarten standards. There are two sessions with a maximum of 16 children in each. The children receive speech/language enrichment lessons through arts and crafts, environmental education and social skills lessons. They participate in music and movement activities, story time, swimming and special outings. Lunch and snacks are provided by Children's Beach House. The Goals of the Program are to increasing speech and language skills, increasing motor skills, develope positive self esteem and develope socially appropriate behaviors.
