Notes

The BOEC Wilderness Program is offering a three-day overnight ski weekend for young men and women, between the ages of 13-16 years old with Spectrum Disorders including Sensory Integration Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome and moderate Autism. Join them for fun on the slopes of Breckenridge and at the BOEC's Griffith Lodge. During this three-day program, participants will receive 1 & 1/2 days of personalized ski/snowboard instruction at the BOEC's Adaptive Ski Program. This program provides campers with the opportunity to practice social skills, life skills, independence and teamwork that will transfer into everyday life. Students will be involved in cooking, cleaning and gear preparation during the course; however, the emphasis will be on having fun in a structured setting. Campers will be provided with between minimal and moderate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
