The Southwest Louisiana Equestrian Special Olympics is the largest team in the state of Louisiana . The Therapeutic Riding Center hosts practice and area games for 35 to 40 athletes each year. The athletes range from 8 years old and up with developmental and intellectual challenges from a 5 parish area.
