Kappa Kidney Camp offers a wonderful array of summertime activities in an environment specifically designed for youngsters, ages 8 to 18 years old who are either on dialysis or who have had a kidney transplant. Campers enjoy a six-day, five night stay at a camp fully staffed with expert medical care.

Children from all over Ohio enjoy this program at the YMCA. Willson Outdoor Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Campers may attend camp at no charge, due to generous support from sponsors, like the Ohio chapters of the Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternities. The camp features cabin accommodations nestled in a beautiful woods next to a large lake for boating and fishing.

Other favorite camp activities include horseback riding, arts and crafts, swimming at the municipal pool, rock climbing, and nights filled with campfires, karaoke, and dancing.

Kappa Kidney Camp gives kids a unique opportunity to meet others like themselves. Many campers develop lasting friendships, built on shared interests and bonds forged by their mutual experience of living with a life threatening disease.
