Easter Seals Washington is committed to helping people with disabilities and providing support for their families. At Easter Seals Camp Stand By Me, they fulfill both goals by providing residential summer camp for children and adults with disabilities and year-round respite services for their families.
Residential camping experiences for children and adults Easter Seal Camping Program is for individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities. 20 acres of forest and waterfront west of Tacoma on Puget Sound's Key Peninsula offers an indoor accessible swimming pool, horseback riding, boating, fishing,campfire programs, creative arts and more. Evening and social activties include skits, theme parties in the main
lodge. 2:1 camper to staff ration, certified activity specialists, a registered nurse on duty 24 hours a day and on-call camp physician. Camp for adults 18 and over is July 18-23. Camp for children is July 25-30. Cost for the
six day session is $575. Application deadline is May 1.
