Ready, Set, Ride Therapeutic Recreation Facility provides horse back riding and hippotherapy opportunities to individuals with disabilities.
Following NARHA guidelines, we base our program on developmental hippotherapy techniques utilizing the horse as a means of mobility for the individual. Our student base ranges in age from 18 months to 45 years.
Two riding instructors lead the classes where a variety of games are played with the students while on horseback. These games incorporate physical, speech, occupational, developmental and recreational therapy all while working with the horses. Students will be evaluated periodically so as to increase or decrease the level of therapy needed for consistant improvement.
Parents and/or volunteers are welcome to participate in therapy sessions and are encouraged to be an active part of the entire process.
We are a 501C3 Not-Profit Organization and operate on DONATIONS.
