The Therapeutic Recreation department provides a variety of programs designed to train, educate and support children so that they may be involved in recreation and leisure activities.

Therapeutic Recreation helps children who have an illness or disabling condition develop skills and knowledge needed to be involved in the recreation and leisure activities they enjoy. The TR department provides an inpatient program to work with children staying in the hospital, clinic consults to work with children as part of their clinic appointment and community outreach programs to work with children in the community.
