Warm Water Pool Program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

This group is a warm water playgroup for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder five to seven years of age. It is led by a licensed therapist and will focus on:

• functional play
• activities of daily living
• improving motor planning
• improving body awareness
• addressing sensory integration concerns
• and offering an opportunity for structured social interaction with peers in a warm water medium.

• Must be 5 to 7 years of age (Children younger or older than the required age range will be considered on an individual basis).
• Signed physician's clearance
• Ability to maintain head above water and stand in 3 feet of water
• Ability to follow 1-2 step directions (Visual and/or Verbal)
• A diagnosis of ASD and/or a referral from a therapist
