Health Place is a vital part of the community-wide healthcare provided by WellStar. From youth to seniors, the fitness and wellness center caters its services, personal training, classes, rehabilitation programs and exercise equipment for all ages.

Health Place is staffed by degreed exercise physiologists and specialists, health educators, registered dietitians, and certified massage therapists.

The newly renovated, 55,000-square-feet center's amenities include:

Membership has many benefits including a complimentary health history review and fitness evaluation to gauge cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, endurance, and body composition. The wellness assessment is completed with a customized nutrition consultation.

Group exercise classes, including KickBoxing, Step 1-2-3, Buns & Bellies, Low Impact, Yoga, Cardio Blast, and Cycle Reebok, are available each day and designed for various fitness levels. A full aquatics schedule offers swimming lesson and classes such as AquaJoint and HydroPower that help increase flexibility, cardio endurance and muscle strength without the strain.
