Easter Seals addresses the need for accessible camping with its location near Chestertown, Maryland. Fairlee Manor Recreation and Education Center is a beautiful residential recreational and respite camp on 250 sprawling acres on Fairlee Creek which offers campers from age 6 and up the opportunity to experience the joys and challenges of camp in a fully-accessible setting.
Camp Fairlee Manor offers summer camp and weekend respite sessions for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Sumer residential camp runs from June to August in week-long sessions designated by age and disability. Respite sessions are offered 2 weekends per month from October through May. Family Camps are offered for families referred by service agencies. Services for the general public include Adventure Education Programs - ropes courses and team building sessions can be scheduled for school groups, nonprofits, businesses, etc. Facilities, when not in use, are available for rent. Facilities include cottages, dining hall, dormitory, bathhouse, pool, tennis and basketball courts.
