The Games for the Physically Challenged offers competition in a variety of adapted sports, plus fitness for young people with physical disabilities.
Athletes of the same sex and physical disabilities compete in the age divisions of 5-8 years, 9-11 years, 12-15 years, 16-18 years and 19-21 years. Events are open with no qualifying competition or previous experience required.
Events include track and field, power wheelchair, swimming, slalom obstacle courses, archery,and table tennis.
Non-competitive demonstration sports are also available. These events offer children with disabilities exciting opportunities to participate in sports
and recreational activities which are adapted to best suit their abilities.
