Mountin' Hopes is a therapeutic horseback riding center located in Western North Carolina.

Our purpose is to provide children and adults with special needs an activity that is both therapeutic and fun, in a safe, supportive, non-competitive environment. Each client's weekly lesson includes both riding and care of the horse, so a relationship can develop between the person and the animal. All activities are closely supervised by trained instructors and assistants. Physical therapists and other medical experts assist with the program as needed. Teaching methods, safety standards, and all other aspects of the program are guided by the principles of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).
