Shepherd Center sports teams enable people with disabilities in the Atlanta area to play sports in a competitive and/or recreational environment.
Our teams hold regular practice sessions, and offer expert instruction and camaraderie. Athletes can compete on local, regional, national and international levels thanks to donations made possible by Shepherd Center's Junior Committee. Through competition and community outreach, Shepherd Center sports teams also raise awareness about disabilities and increase participation in disabled sports.
