Notes

What We Do
Individuals with all different disabilities, ages and backgrounds enjoy the professional lessons on carefully selected horses. Helped by numerous volunteers, the students can learn how to groom, saddle and ride a horse. Through games, obstacle courses, trail rides and vaulting, our riders learn skills that will improve their outlook on life.

The Program
The Therapeutic Riding program depends HEAVILY on volunteers. They are the backbone and we could not provide the lessons without their help.

Therapeutic horseback riding has been recognized for many years as a tool to benefit individuals with disabilities.

It helps to:

  • Improve posture
