Notes

Life on the Farm:

This is a unique experience for any young child (ages 5-7). The year 'round Five lesson program transports the child to a place where animals are the teachers and nature offers an ideal country leaning experience for all. The goal of this program is to provide first-hand experiences with barnyard life.

Through touch and feel, a child learns to appreciate, respect and preserve the natural world around them. Some of the experiences your child will participate in are the hatching of baby chicks beginning horsemanship, sunflower planting, black smithing, country cooking, and so much more.

Horsin Around:

Throughout the year Normandy Farms hosts a series of five-day equestrian horse camps.

Each program features the following:
  • Week long programs from 9am-12pm
  • Horsemanship lessons
  • Daily riding lessons
  • One hour class on equine topics
  • Vaulting-Gymnastic on horseback
  • Equine & Craft classes
Chaps-n-Britches:

Through fun and games both on the ground and in the saddle, our instructors create a unique learning environment for the very young equestrian (ages 2-5). Horsemanship skills are creatively taught at the pre-school level with size appropriate ponies to facilitate safety and confidence.
