Windridge Therapeutic Riding Equestrian Center is a special organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of children and adults with cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities, and to provide a positive experience in their lives and the lives of the volunteers and staff.
Windridge was founded in 1989 and provides four (4) therapeutic horsemanship programs: therapeutic riding, therapeutic driving, hippotherapy, and a teenage volunteer/ mentoring program - Quest For Success. These therapy programs serve more than 133 clients each week.
Windridge is fully accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), and our seven full-time instructors are certified through NARHA as well. These programs utilize's the horse's therapeutically beneficial movement to provide exercise, education therapy, and life skills fostering self-sufficiency and independence within each participant.
