Exceptional Equestrians is a non-porfit 501(c)(3) corporation providing hippotherapy (1:1 treatment by a licensed therapist using the horse as a treatment tool) and therapeutic riding (group treatment of children on horsback, supervised by a therapist oand riding instructor).

Exceptional Equestrians provides these equine-assisted treatment programs to children and youth with disabilities, ages 2 through 18 years. Participating children must meet program criteria for safety. The program is funded by grants, fundraisers and public support.
