Notes

Situated on 76 acres of countryside in Cabarrus County. W of E is a family owned and operated non-profit (501)(c)(3) organization which specializes in a practice known as therapeutic horseback riding. Our therapeutic horses serve as unique vehicles for exercising one's body and mind.

We are a North American Riders for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) Center and we adhere to their standards for safety and operations. Approximately one hundred (100) children with disabilities have had mini-riding experiences at the Ranch through field trips from area schools.

Wings of Eagles Ranch offers free therapeutic horseback riding sessions for children and adults with disabilities. The sessions provide numerous benefits to the riders including increased flexibility and balance, increased confidence and self-esteem, normalization of high or low muscle tone, enhanced socialization skills and more. We are a non-profit organization and operate solely on donations, so there is no charge for participating in this program.
