Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, in Irvine, (Estill County), Kentucky, Interfaith Wellness Ministry, Inc. provides a "Gathering Place" for peace and reflection, individual health counseling, and health education and services to rural churches and to the community. Founded by Sr. Loretta Spotila , CSA in 1997, this ministry helps people integrate faith and well-being in their daily lives and promotes the wholeness of body, mind, and spirit. Healthy families and healthy congregations help create a healthier community.

• Monthly presentations on various wellness topics

• Provided at Center and Outreach sites
• Free educational materials, door prizes and refreshments

• Gentle exercise for strength and flexibility
• Meets twice weekly for 10-15 weeks
• Program provided twice yearly: beginning in January and September
