Notes

Sponsored by Amputees Coming Together (ACT), this camp is for children with limb loss. ACT camp is free, but each camper is responsible for his or her own transportation to and from the camp.

Amputees Coming Together (ACT) is comprised of amputees and the families of children with limb loss, whose objective is to teach individuals to deal with various aspects of limb deficiency. Camp activities include: river rafting, rope tower climbing, horseback riding, and gem mining. The ACT camp not only allows the children to stretch his or her understanding of what is possible, but also provides parents a network of other families who have children with limb loss.
