A class designed specifically for people with arthritis. Includes exercises that involve the parts of the body most commonly affected with arthritis in movement designed to increase range of motion and muscular strength in those areas. The class includes exercises for the shoulder, elbows, wrists and fingers, hips and knees, ankles and toes, the abdominal area, and a gentle aerobic segment which involves walking in the pool at a very moderate intensity. A gentle warm-up precedes the exercise portion followed by a relaxing cool down. The water temperature is 84 - 86 degrees. Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 10:30am.
A gentle water aerobics class for seniors, those who are beginning a fitness program, those who are returning to exercise after a long absence, or those who do not need the intensity of regular water aerobics. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:30am.
