SUMMER CAMP:
Easter Seals Camp is a special one-week overnight camp for disabled and non-disabled children and adults to participate in a residential camp. Each session of camp is grouped by age and disability category. The camp is located in Mt. Juliet, TN on Old Hickory Lake. Activities include: dances, swimming, cookouts, fishing, motor boating, and a petting zoo.
In addition, the Respite Program at Easter Seals Camp provides families/caregivers the opportunity to relax, spend time with other friends and family, and get much needed rest. Families/caregivers can rest assured that program participants are in caring and capable hands. For the respite program participant, the weekend is a fun, relaxing time meeting new friends and rekindling old friendships. Participants have the opportunity to be involved in traditional camp activities, as well as special programs. Respite care is scheduled through the year.
