    UW student volunteers provide personalized assistance to facilitate exercise and physical activity for individuals with disabilities. NuSteps, PneuWeight, upper body ergometers with ramps, Free Motion machine, accessible rowers, accessible ski ergometer, accessible speed bag, free weights, balance bars, standing frame, hand grip accessories, gait belts, slings, etc.

Membership Fees
  • Fee to participate in the Program : Program participation is limited to 60 individuals with disabilities each semester. Those interested in the program must first attend an informational session, then submit an application to UW and complete an interview. For individuals accepted to the program, tuition is free for Wisconsin residents on SSI/SSDI and residents over age 65. For participants under age 65, including university students, the tuition is equivalent to that of a 1-credit course with costs varying for residents and non-residents.
