Notes

The dare2tri Paratriathlon club has just launched in the Chicago area! This club will be serving youth, adults and injured service members who have a physical disability such as an amputation, spinal cord injury, stroke, spina bifida, cerebral palsy as well as those with visual impairments or who are blind. From beginner to advanced athletes, those interested in any part of the triathlon: swim, bike, or run, are encouraged to contact us to learn more about the club. Our club will be providing the adaptive equipment, training, coaching, handlers and guides so that they athletes can be fully prepared to dare2tri and inspire others to do the same. If you are new to the sport and nervous to do all three elements, relays are an option! The motto of our club is 'one inspires many' and we are looking forward to letting the Chicago community see what we are all capable of. We have 4 triathlons, 1 weekend camp and weekly training opportunities with certified USAT Triathlon coaches available to our athletes. We encourage all athletes with physical disabilities and visual impairments to join us and see how far you can go. If you have any questions or would like more information please contact us.

Volunteers and guides are also needed and encouraged to get involved as well. We will need help during the training sessions, the camp and the races. Please contact us for additional information.
