Equine Facilitated Therapy (EFT) is an experimentally based therapy that unites children and horses within a therapeutic setting. EFT may include a number of mutually respectful equine activities such as handling, grooming, bonding, exercising, riding, driving, and vaulting. For those with learning disabilities, emotional or behavioral issues, the unique relationship and bond formed between a child and a warm, soft, friendly horse ignites a very special healing process.
