The San Juan Outdoor School/Telluride Alpinism, in partnership with the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program, offers a variety of customized winter outdoor adventures for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities (family and friends encouraged to come along!). With the guidance of expert instructors and naturalists, participants in our programs gain an appreciation for the rich natural and cultural history of Telluride�s majestic San Juan Mountains.
The adventures include the Snowshoe Tours, Backcountry Skiing and Heli- Skiing.
With the combined expertise of TASP's professional adaptive ski and snowboard instructors along with the exemplary safety record and tailored guest experiences of Helitrax, we can offer adaptive clients the heli-ski experience of a lifetime! With the vision to open the backcountry to individuals of all abilities, TASP and Helitrax will help you experience skiing or riding the highest elevations serviced by helicopter in North American on single-day or multi-day guided heli-skiing adventures.
